Discipling into the Kingdom

  1. This is incredible! Yes! Jesus uses all of us to get His message out. I hope that God will see that my life represents this, “so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. (Philippians 1:20b) As we live and walk, I believe that God gives us opportunities to share our faith with people. Sometimes it’s with someone sitting in the cold by a trash can who needs a little help. Sometimes it’s with a special needs person who feels all alone and needs someone to love them and hug them each week. Sometimes it’s a friend who feels very lonely and needs encouragement to keep on following Jesus (because if their light shines, they will touch others for Jesus too! – the rippling wave effect) Sometimes it’s with a stranger who needs to hear some words of Jesus in everyday conversation. We never know when God gives us those opportunities. It is the ones I know I have missed that plague my thoughts, and I pray for those that I missed. I pray for God to send them another because I messed up. I have to remember who I belong to and live for Him all along the way so that my regrets and tears in heaven will be few, if possible.
