Think about this verse –
“Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31)
Whatever we do can glorify God. To put it another way, whatever we do can point people to God. The question is not whether it can glorify God. The question is will seek to point people to God by what we do. Those are two totally different questions.
The first person ponders if there is a separation between the sacred and the secular. The second has already settled that. The second question asks if we will decide to make all those things which we do point people to God. They have already decided to tear down the wall between the sacred and the secular. Now, they are going to use those things which traditionally don’t point people to God to point people to God.
How do we do it? We do it by, as we are told in God’s Word, “Taking every thought captive to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5). This is how I do it… I am always asking, “How can I use this encounter to point someone to Jesus?” How will you do it?
Something to think about,
