Last Sunday we talked about prayer.  I pointed out that prayer is necessary.  It makes us spiritually alert and it helps those who have needs.  Today I want to encourage you to see people having needs that are not obvious.  Too many times we look only on what can be seen.  When people seem to have things all together we think that they are immune to hurting like we see in our own lives.  Think back to a time in your life when things were going well.  Did you have hurts, frustrations, and fears then?  Of course… we never stop being human even when our lives are going well.  We needed people to be there for us even then. 

 

May we remember everyone that God brings to our minds in prayer.  We may not think some people need it.  When we think that we do them a disservice.  We cannot live without prayer any more than we can do without oxygen.  Our friends, family, and neighbors cannot live without it either.
