Every story has to have a beginning.  Today’s story begins with my salvation.  My journey with Christ began with a ten year old boy.  My family had changed churches and I was listening to the pastor like never before.  I know, what kid needs to get saved at 10, right?  Well, I did.  I heard about what Jesus had done.  I figured out that God wasn’t asking me to get better.  He was offering to change me from the inside out.  He offered Jesus.  He asked me what I was going to do about it.

 

I was too scared to publicly ask Jesus to save me.  That didn’t matter to my pastor.  Pastor John was willing to talk with me after everyone left.  I asked Jesus to save me from my sins (their penalty).  I then asked if He would work in me just like He had done with the people in the Bible.  I gave my life to Him that day.  It changed everything for me.
