I recently read an overview of the defeat of Germany in WWII. The author of the article highlighted several things that defeated Germany, but the article kept coming back to the idea of 3 fronts. You probably have heard of the two fronts: Western and Eastern. This author suggested that Germany could have endured the American entrance to the war if we hadn’t brought this one thing: airplanes. This “third front” changed everything. Two and “three” front wars are very difficult to win. Let me cut to the chase. In living out our faith we face a similar conflict. If you have ever wondered why living a faithful Christian life is hard, consider if this is your answer.
